Hi

i am using "mixed in key" to analyse witch song go well together when i dj at clubs... so i was wondering if this somehow could be implanted in radiodj

i know that radiodj not is a dj software!! but an automation software

but i think that it would be nice if radiodj could read these tags... and i could do my rotations by the camelot method so my rotations would sound better
Best Regards

I was wondering the same thing, I've been finding out about these combinations and it would be good if RadioDJ could create rotations taking into account parameters like the notes of the camelot wheel and the BPM. This way the rotations could be more harmonious and orderly.

I hope one day Marius will be able to take that into account.

Am not using mixed in key, i use TuneXplorer, woks the same. save the bpm and key in the mp3tag.
a extra column in the table songs for it will be nice.
And sowing in the playlist builder to, for Harmonic Mixing with the camelot clock wheel.

There should be some code in the Mixxx project for this that might be reusable or at least give you ideas.
